Info

Crowning the Chrysler Building's three-stories-tall, red marble-lined, main lobby, spreading over the palatial lobby's entire ceiling, is a 76- by 100-foot long mural, of which this 15-foot-long section depicting the Chrysler Building itself is but a small piece.

The whole mural, painted by Edward Trumbull on canvas and cemented onto the entire ceiling back in 1930, was painstakingly cleaned and restored in 1999.
